Born in Boston, MA on August 9,1933 and raised in Wellesley, MA. He is survived by his loving wife LInda, son Scott Slye of Colorado Springs, CO, and daughter Susan Fabiano (Joe) of Sarasota, FL. Also survivig Ken are his two granddaughters Stacey Brandon (Mark) and Audrey Ribley (B.J.) and six great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Will, Addison, Coooper, Scott and Brystal. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of his children Judith Slye of Sarasota, FL as well as Linda's son Jeff Furnish of Camarillo, CA and daughter Meg Furnish of Viennna, Austria.
Ken's loves in life were his family, the military, our veterans and his world travels as part of is tennis officiating. He offiicated at the US Open, Wimbledon, French Open and Davis Cup. He was a graduate of the first professional tennis officials' school hwld in Dallas, TX in 1976.
Ken sang bass with the Louisville Thoroughbred Chorus for 4 years and after stepping down from the risers served as chorus manager for an additional 6 years.
Ken asked to be creamted and his ashes spread at sites meaningful to him - including Thoroughbred Hall, the Huey helicopter in Veterans Park, Jeffersontown,KY and his parents' graves in Massachusetts.
